This is just a little shout out from the health care side of me. With career changes I am one of those without health insurance. Plus a savvy shopper always looking for a great deal.
Being in health care I am required to have the flu shot yearly, or I would be out of a job. I did some researching this weekend and low and behold my favorite store pulls through yet again.
Anyone can walk into a Costco pharmacy and use their services. They offer the flu shot for 20 bucks.
If you do not have $20 to spare check out your local department of health office. They usually offer a vaccine clinic once or twice a month for a few hours. Expect long lines though. In the end if you can swing the $20 it may be worth it. Plus if you’re executive level/credit card holder you’ll earn points.
